The Labour Hopscotch Framework aims to support women in a physiological birth where the innate abilities of the womans body and baby – rather than epidurals and caesarean sections – power the process. The framework was developed in 2015 by Sinéad Thompson, a community midwife at the National Maternity Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
